Thanks. But yeah, it's a pain not being experienced with trades. I don't know 100% what I'm looking for in trying to get a good paver, or landscaping etc. Main thing is I don't want a shoddy job and not know the better of it. Thinking of DIY painting but for a brand new 4x2 everyone has told me I will be in a world of regret, spending a week or two

It would be good actually to bounce landscaping questions off ya if you ever minded actually. More so with the small house lots these days where you only have 1.5 m max down the sides/rear, does one need to have soft landscaping (grass etc) or can you pave the whole lot: mainly due to the water issue. As I thought you had regulations or 'best practice' for water pooling on all paved areas or around the foundations? Or do you just pave all around the house bar leaving the soil/mulch open around the fence so that water can absorb into the ground there (away from the house)?

    Anyway back onto RDG...

Agreed - it was one of the things I thought of in terms of the fixed assets as to why you included it. I do remember specifically the asset sales as they phased out of some work/areas.. and you are right they did realize a decent amount given they had time to offload it. I just took a worse case look at things given how typically fixed assets are hard to get rid of at decent prices.

I guess the upside is by removing the PPE completely the cash backing is still 2-2.5 c at this rate, so it's positive when the potential upside of the fixed assets is taken into account.

I have no experience with cup and handles , but assumedly the handle is - based on your calculations - half of the movement of the formation of the cup (4.1-2.5c in this case)?

The prior intra day (literally minutes) high reached 5.1c from memory, not sure the effect of this in terms of resistance on the way up, but it would fit well with hitting the handle at 4.9c.

On fundamentals aside do you see it bagging past 4.9c though if housing and mining work come in conservatively at the last half year results pace, or even reducing that by a tad? I would assume even a P/E of 2-3 times would be very conservative for this type of company? So if you prices 3 x P/E - the resulting share price would still be pretty conservative currently when you add in the 2-2.5c value of cash per share.

I think the big unknown is mining work and what 'existing' work that produced last financial year's results will continue. One of the things I noticed compared to your DSB was there wasn't so much a 'pipeline' presentation , so quite hard for transparency pov.

I am not sure if an acquisition is still on the books but clearly they haven't had any luck? Not sure if the recent HA announcement would result in some cash being tied up in the subsequent housing development? Also depends on what sort of earnings could be generated on a 7-8m purchase of an existing business? Any guide or prior exposure/experience in this area?

200k - nice, I think mirrors roughly the small stake I took previously too. Didn't get to bump it up as obviously I'm flat out with the house finishing and I've been putting aside money for the girl's best friend.. soon to be this month!
