Hello, Alex, Midnight probably gave you the best answer when you have the perspective of a long term holder.
I will try to give you some answers, even if those are not the ones you are expecting.
1) Regarding Market Cap, remember one thing: if you have an entity in a stock exchange, Market Cap is obtained in the market. That means the possible agreement between buyers and sellers. That value is often correlated with the fundamentals of a company, but frequently it is not (depending on hype, liquidity, trend, unrelated stuff like wars, etc.). So, if you are asking about the possible value of this company, it can be huge. If you are asking about the possible value on the market, it will depend on the behaviour of buyers and sellers of the stock. There is not a definite answer.
2) Once again, things are not linear. Costs will depend on a platitude of factors, and it might be somewhat early to have a clear vision regarding those. In any case, just like in almost any other business, you have to spend first to earn later. The first stages are usually the most expensive (and time costly), but if you have time, the most profitable times are usually after these initial periods, and not before (unless we are talking about an unprofitable activity, which will not be the case here). But the share price is dependant on other factors. These are the fundamentals regarding the company. However, when you are a producer, the base level of your costs, and the price of gold/platinum/etc are masters, as much as the market sentiment
3) The sell off of the tenements or even the company is definitly a possibility, and it is probable that, in a near future, at least the major shareholders will be invited to discuss that, at least in theory. Remember: if BBX can prove a very big resource, it will be hard to be ignored by some major companies, and it will be hard to ignore their proposals. It might not be the ideal outcome for some, and it will eventually be an interesting result for others. For now, all the cards are on the table, but, if I would have to bet, the company (or some of the tenements) will be sold. A good offer will be hard to ignore; an excellent offer will be impossible to turn down; bad offers will probably have the result of BBX shareholders prefering to start production.
With all that said, you have to find your exit point(s) regardless of what other people think. You do what suits you better. Some things might take some time, but when time is not a problem and you have used spare money, why move it if the risk proposition brings you an excellent reward?
If you observe the lack of liquidity regarding this stock, that might tell you something. If you are a geo, then that might tell you something more. If you have the guts... this is for you.
Regards and an excellent long weekend for all,
The Alleged Drakeman (Drunkman would be more funny, but inappropriate regardless)
