Well u would know better, but from what I read Wychoff says its- his method is 50% and the other 50% is the mental state. Wether that's intuition from the experience of tape reading or something else that can be taught using 21st century scientific education methods- who knows?
I think there would have to be tolerance and overlap is all these percentage's.
if a 10% tolerance - eg 50% + or - 10% is 40% and 60%,
so in reality the tolerance could be different for each person and 10 to 20% tolerance of these findings, would be acceptable.
But the main point is Wychoff is stating the technical side is 50% of the whole process, whereas this professor, using what he considers to be the latest appropriate teachings, says 'TA charting' fits within the 20% range, of successful trading.
This is from my understanding, which can be corrected.
brain food....processing.....
In essence I prefer the way this educational professor has set out this relativity of concepts, as I think it is more true than Wychoffs suggestion of 50/50. (If that's true- the Wychoff assumption of 50/50)
Yet if I was to have ago at percentages, I would be using 10-15% tolerance of all these following ranges;
I would say it is 50% risk/50% self, again the risk is 50% money management and 50% market analysis,
so the 25% 'market analysis' is still 1/3 TA, 1/3 FA and 1/3 sentiment
then, TA is 8.3%, FA is 8.3% and market sentiment is 8.3%. (So this is what I think... for now)
