    JALON .

He is not my man at all. He does not represent me. Nor does the institute in my state. Shows your depth of knowledge if you think we look up to the institutes. I am not a member not will ever be a member as I know what they are all about.

Jalon I think you can stop with the stories of the wife of a friend of a suburban agency told you this as you don't have the credibility as you still are yet to answer the questions. And your stats regarding each portals market share are so so so far out......

2 questions that you I will remind you that you still have not answered-

Why would a private landlord list with Rnt when they can list a a fraction of the cost and advertise on 11 websites including REA, domain, home hound as well as Rnt themselves? Listing on the above sites would have the private landlord receive 20+ x the amount of enquiry....

When are Rnt going to start charging agents ? Pretty important questions so I suggest instead of coming up with these frivolous stories you concentrate on answering with facts some of the questions. I am interested to see whether or not your still arguing the point when it reaches 15c or whether you disappear like Accaeric and kev and the likes.

Perth anyone can ring around for themselves and find out fees. You saying that Perth should be an example for the rest of Aistralia is amusing considering how isolated it is and it being a boom bust state due to the heavy reliance on mining. Not only that fees will be higher in the areas more remote which is common sense. Based on your comments I have no doubt that you would be one paying these fees. Make no mistake in the Eastern capital cities there will always be opportunities for landlords to negotiate down to 5%. Not that I would ever go with the cheapest agent but each to their own.

I see on the other RNT thread Jalon you are on the Uber thing again. Seriously you don't have any idea on the industry if you think driving a person from point a to point b is the same as managing a property / tenants I can only laugh.

Michael SA I feel sorry for you up until 11 counting my posts.........a bit hypocritical there I think old buddy. And your question has been answered numerous times so why not read them instead of asking me to keep posting which you obviously don't like me doing....

J Citizen - I think we have some disgruntled tenants on this thread.........And they like making accusations, name calling and the like but seem reluctant to answer questions.

Also someone made the comment it's not about agents it's about having the tenants going to the portals which is important.......cannot recall who that was but they need to ask themselves are the tenants going to go to a website that may if they are lucky have about 7 % of the market ? FACT - tenants will go to the portal that offers the widest selection of properties within their chosen area. So anyone who is serious about this company click on each capital city and surrounding suburbs and you will find the truth. And once RNT ( I know they won't charge agents ) start invoicing agents these figures which are already not too flattering for Rnt will dilute overnight....

As a shareholder you can live in hope that a big fish might come and gobble you up however unfortunately there is no value in Rnt to companies such as REA and Domain.
