A very plausible theory. They dont need to build an west-east pipeline at all. I imagine the domestic supply policy might allow companies to use offsets e.g. a company may be exporting 100% of its gas located in Queensland while supplying its gas located in Western Australia or Victoria for domestic purposes. So, the question/s is/are, who on the Eastern seaboard will struggle to meet their domestic gas commitments, and does AWE possess gas in sufficient quantities and locations to warrant interest...
