Hey, wait a mo, Radicool Views. There is such a thing as Company Tax and that is payable to the government by all companies, whether they pay their shareholders Franked or Unfranked shares. Certainly, just can't pay that 30% out as Unfranked and Bob's your uncle! What and then claim, sorry we are not going to pay the government 30% company tax because we have passed it directly on to the shareholder as additional income? Hey, what? Think you have got a bit of information unaccounted for in your thinking. Little about the timing of holding on to shareholders franking credits for six months. A valid point but little contribution to the real issue around this.
