I am wondering why you have not built up funds outside the superannuation environment which could have enabled you to take early retirement financially comfortably. I retired on turning 50 and best thing I've ever done. Ex Secondary school teacher who had had enough. I am quite able to live well on assets accumulated outside super although have a small super find as well.
