beachcomber4 - I have not appeared to "have forgotten "Changes to capital gains"......
I have simply replied on the issue clearly enunciated by the initiator of this thread which reads "Proposal to abolish refundability of Franking Credits". As an ex-Economics teacher, I always told students to discuss the question asked and not a question which was not asked.
Where is that hidden message that I should be debating capital gains tax changes?
You see, beachcomber4, I went to school and learned how to address the question asked, not a question not asked. While I am here, I notice you wrote "loose 50% rebate after 12 mths". You need to learn to spell and recognise that you should have written "lose". See, if you can accuse me of irrelevancies, you deserve me to return the treatment. I do hope you have some "loose change in your pocket and don't lose it". Your lesson for today.
