the other (unspoken) option involves the 5 year wait (where peeps maybe live on their "pokies" winnings) ...or avoid the 5 year wait by doing some other things that may help.
for some, the downside here will be not too much, and the upside for the "family recipients" is actually pretty good for many .... will depend upon many factors of course.
just cos it is not talked about does not mean it is a valid option.
