many people do not understand that in Australia , super is now taxed at all three levels. Contribution tax on the way in, tax on earnings in accumulation phase, and finally the $1.6 million cap which we know will reduce over time. Intelligent countries tax once and once only, and that is on the way out when it is taxed at normal rates. How simple is that , and of course it builds up a much bigger balance.
We are the only country that taxes at all three levels and the only country whose politicians can’t get it right and are forever changing the rules.
