7The $36K is no issue. Property ownership is a problem but not insurmountable, albeit with some element of risk. There are schemes to mitigate these, but I’m not sure how foolproof they are just yet. Still trying to understand the system.
Property ownership in Malaysia is encouraged with the MM2H scheme. Being a former British colony, the legal system is comprehensible, again the level of corruption needs to be weighed in but it’s not all bad. Google MM2H
There are still options for all of us to have a sustainable self funded lifestyle, sadly no longer in our home country but hey, that’s globalism for you. You can’t fight it, you just have to adapt.
The irony is that Shorten and Bowen will drive out the very people who cost the government and the community the very least and who still add to the economy. Arithmetic not a strong point of the ALP.
