If Franking Credits are to be abolished, I’d like to see it done across the board with no exceptions. Whether it’s a mechanism to reduce paying tax or a cash refund, it’s still the same - it ends up costing the government money.
The present ALP policy of targetting SMSF’s is blatantly discriminatory.
The only question remaining is whether Shorten and Bowen have the guts to stare down the union managed industry funds and tell them that all franking credits will be abolished...... Nah... thought not. Just another couple Union flunkies doing as they’re told.
