3 different taxpayers, so 3 different situations:
If I am between 60-67, do not work, have super in an industry fund and hold dividend producing shares outside of super then 18k2 is the tax free threshold.
If I am between 60-67, do work at the Coles Supermarket 5 days a week, have super in an industry fund and hold dividend producing shares outside of super then 18k2 is the tax free threshold.
If I am between 60-67, do work at the Salvation Army 5 days a week, have super in an industry fund and hold dividend producing shares outside of super then 35K odd is the tax free threshold.
As already said, this is the system ....... this is the game we play!
