I have discussed this with the building authorities and government ministers and they do not want to improve the system as they say it is perfect !!!
The travel industry, the swimming pool industry were two that have seen the light and put in place actions that protect buyers and the contractors so why not the builders.
Even the builders guarantee system does not work and when builders go broke, take a quick trip overseas the insurance is never available to fix the mess
Look at the leaning Opal tower in Sydney, to be safe it will have to be demolished and who will pay to those who spent $1 million + to buy into that wreck.
