I was talking with a real estate agent in Corowa, 60kms from the proposed mine, and he said there has been a run on of property in Corowa of late, and plenty of vacant blocks being snapped up and low maintenance homes being built on them, along with units as well.
Corowa hasnt had any new investment in the town, and he thinks Oaklands could have something to do with it. Builders who were quiet 12 months ago are now flat out.
