Thanks to mega and wade for providing some new links, there is a bit of an update on these project lists. The changes to the original post are Highlighted:
1. Garden IMG - Commissioning in July 2018 - MO pointed out land behind could be used for expansion
2. CSIRO telescope - Battery/solar all done - must be close - MO mentioned more potential expansion
3. Newcastle - commissioning Q3 2018
4. Delamare - commissioning Q3 2018 - potential to lead to more DOD and more work at delamare
5. Northam - commissioning Q4 calendar year 2018
6. Elizabeth Microgrid - commissioning December 2018
7. Kalbarri - completed June 2019
8. Horizon SAS - Initial 5 SPS units in the Esperance Region of 5 x 10 KW (and an additional 10 and 25 kw not sure how they fit in). Tender closes on the 25th of June.
- Horizon Power is seeking a highly experienced and capable external party:
• to supply, install and commission 5 SPS units in the Esperance Region in the first instance and following this, additional off-grid infrastructure in the medium term subject to Horizon Power customer demand; and
• who expresses a clear interest in exploring wider collaboration opportunities with Horizon Power that may lead to a longer term supply relationship or strategic partnership arrangement.
I am sure given that second point CCE will want to be involved and it also demonstrates the potential pipeline of work. To illustrate this further Horizon projects that its electricity supply make up will go from:
2017 - 98% centralised
2025 - 59% centralised, 35% DER (Distributed Energy resources) and 6% off gird
That is a lot of work in the next 6 and half years.
Given that I know the initial project is quiet small but the potential pipeline is huge.
A comparable Horizon project I found had the tender close on July 5 2016 and the contract signed on October 11.
So we could have a contract signed by September 2018.
