I have worked on major fixed price projects and they have been run with strict cost and budget control procedures. Forge's performance is nothing short of pathetic, and blame has to go not only to the directors but to the commercial and management teams working on those projects.

To respond to your last line: "Also - I wonder how the staff were told that they had just lost their jobs."

I can confirm they were sacked en masse via teleconference.
