TA traders go on momentum, and seeing that the sector is out of favour, others would have already moved their funds causing the momentum swing, which is then further added by the TA traders.

Then other traders have stop losses and will sell regardless of news.

The negative spiral seems never ending before someone decides it has reached its lows and enters, making the swing slow down and then go the other way.

The question is, when will the swing start to turn and who is game enough to make it turn? It could be in a month or a couple of years, but it will turn.
