Yes, I agree! I have had a small silver bullion buy order outstanding since Thursday (an unfilled balance of a bigger order). Yet, even with the drop on Friday I was surprised to find no seller had yet filled my order when I checked on Friday evening!?

However, when I worked out the FOREX (GB£/US$) change (over 1.5%) it became clear that my outstanding buy order had not materially changed with reference to the silver price in GB£.

It is so easy to get carried away with movements on gold and silver when referenced to the US$ - but it is largely a function of the rise in the US$ rather than a fall in the metals even if there has been large derivative movements on COMEX.
