Further, I can't help thinking that the reason they went for the chosen path of raising capital (ie. not a rights issue) is that Towner and Wyllie Group were both not interested in putting funds into the company.
In short, with these two, and likely a few others, they knew there was over 20% of shareholders that would not participate.
Still doesn't excuse not having a SPP alongside anything else.
