Also .. I have a cousin who runs his own software company (not listed) that sells a software program that he developed about 6 years ago. His product is as highly regarded as an established rival product that sells for double the price.
So he's making huge inroads.
Yet his profit margins would be in the 80% mark - he just needs a couple of programmers, so minimal labour costs and he's selling a program disc for $2,000 and then there's the recurring income stream.
his biggest cost is advertising... but the recurring income covers that anyway.
