It's interesting. In my head, imu were extremely excited just before that Vienna meeting, then they were much cooler.

In my opinion they were already seeing great efficacy signs, but they decided at that meeting to reign in the enthusiasm. Then they bought out Mayo - probably the only competition that comes close. Why would you takeover the competition in your area of science? - I guess only if your area of science is working.

The phase 1b result, probably to be announced at ESMO in front of the world's press - gives imu the opportunity to release that pent up enthusiasm that they have. The phase 1b (efficacy) results will speak for themselves, but the imu team will have their own opportunity to add their comments without reservation.

Interesting times ahead. Lets hope we have that cancer cure.
