Well I suppose one thing current shareholders could do is to sell their ORE but clearly that has no effect on Richard Seville. ORE is down well over 50% since earlier this year in large part because of his mismanagement and he seems content on simply letting the clock run out on his reign.
Another thing that is too late to impact Richard Seville much but may get the attention of replacement MD, Manuel, is for current shareholders to vote against any resolutions at the AGM regarding remuneration, performance rights and re-election of existing board members. If 25% or more of votes are against the remuneration report resolution that would raise the prospect of a spill resolution at next year's AGM. It's one thing these corporate pigs in a trough pay attention to is any threat to move the trough out of their reach.
A third thing is for shareholders to keep calling the company and asking for management to start earning their keep and to start explaining how it is they have stuffed up a company with such encouraging prospects as Orocobre. Clearly this lot could not give a hoot about shareholders but that is even more reason for shareholders to keep prodding them with a stick.
And a fourth way is for shareholders to become vocal and more strident on forums such as hc. At the moment Richard Seville can pretend that the situation he has put this company in is okay because everyone seems okay with it.
