I seem to recall that Orocobre rushed out their June quarter production figures on the first business day of July. They were in such a rush to get the figures out into the public record that they did so before they knew for certain how the last couple of days of June had gone. I think I speculated in a hc post that maybe they needed to get the figures to a third party to help expedite a decision. But to no effect it seems, with the Japanese still dawdling over approving the loan facility and no talk of a FID for Olaroz phase 2.
I will be interested to see if they repeat that exercise, but for the September quarter, next Monday. I would hazard a guess that when you promise to the Japanese that you can produce at 17.5kt per year they expect you to deliver.
