For anyone new to the company, I should have referred back to the fact that TAM and ABU did have a strategic alliance from August - December 2009, when TAM sold its NT tenements to ABU to concentrate on its WA tenements. But then the NT Newmont acquisitions in early 2010 changed the picture considerably, and put TAM firmly back into the NT, as well as having its WA holdings.

The close proximity of some of the TAM and ABU tenements resulting from their respective ex-Newmont acquisitions is the main factor which might now drive a closer alliance between the two companies.
