billmac, either your a disgruntled ex or your source is a disgruntled employee, planes still flyin in and out today as usual, fuel may be tight but there still working and from my understanding have a few weeks worth of fuel and they always carry 6-8 weeks worth of food in the freezers. As for Helicopters, even Newmont uses them to bring oil and emergency stock to site, thats nothing alarming just good back up plans. My understanding prior to the Mill upgrade finishing is they had 15k+ tonnes of pit dirt on the ROM to feed.
Im not saying its all good up there due to the rain, but lets be realistic and factual, they, like Newmont have been up there through a lot of Rain seasons, none worse then the 96' deluge so im pretty sure they will have plans even if they cant get fuel through, just dont make it sound like this is something of a major crisi here.
