I've had a very quick look at the Activities Report. This gives the cash costs, weighted average selling price and quarterly production figures. These allow us to determine if this part of the operation is profitable. The cash costs should include a component for administration but not for capex relating to the current upgrade. A small part of the exploration expenditure should probably be included as well but only that part relating to maintaining ore reserves.

All figures are in $US. MRX sold 1165 tonnes and were paid a total of $8.37M
The selling price of $3.25per lb less cash costs of $1.92per lb leaves a surplus of $1.33per lb. At 2204.6lb per tonne, I calculate a total operating surplus of $3.41M for the quarter.

In addition, the inventory of copper cathode increased by 9 tonnes worth over $64,000 at the average price.

I'm happy enough and will be happier still when the sp gets to 16c!
