Ok, I will try an analogy.
We have a new car body styling kit that we think makes cars faster.
We attach it to a Ferrari, and test it against a none modified Ferrari. The times are the same and no benefit is shown.
But now you say but we got a great speed with our body kit. If we add it to a ford we can get Ferrari speed but with a cheap ford.
But one cannot take the credit for a better performance because there wasn't one.
A whole new ford v Ford with body kit test would need to be done. And as it showed no benefit before, why now?
