I’m absolutely with your comments. Whatever happened back with TIS, and whatever EMA may have dealt with the previous mess, we are where we are now.
I believe the Board of FTT gave this their best shot. Maybe they should have had different comparisons with standard of care, but the trial had unequivocal results no matter which way this is spun.
Further trials would cost ?tens of millions, across various jurisdictions. FTT doesn’t have the money, I for one would not be willing to contribute further cash and I doubt many others would. I also doubt they would find a partner to provide support. So the Board is taking the only pragmatic option it can. The history behind this this treatment means it very probably will have no future.
