The SMH is reporting that there are claims the first of the US Naval Littoral Combat ships has 'aggressive corrosion' that will need extensive repairs.

I'm breathing a sigh of relief as I've been watching Austal closely, and was thinking of getting in after the 2 commercial ferry announcements.....but it was being kept down for a reason by those in the know it seems. If the company knew about these issues why nothing on their website?
