    whilst wifi is free, a certain section of the shopping demographic will sign up, but your point is valid. If what SKF is providing shopping malls is trend data, then the data wouldn't be that complete for the reasons you outline. Of course, if the 3G network is inaccessable from within that mall, then access numbers to the free wifi will be much higher. I wonder if that tactic is ever employed???!!
