Hi Darren, long term shareholders will likely have an entry price that is higher than the takeover price so will crystallise losses. For a newbie who got in low, it would be some quick profits. My entry price is 20.5c so a privatisation may be an opportunity to get some quick profits (although for me will be a recoupment of losses from a previous trade on VAH!).
