It's funny what happens in equity markets sometimes.
For a long time, it is hard to find anything of decent enough value to be able to buy at a reasonable price.
Then suddenly - out of the blue - a number of good businesses suddenly become available for sale at attractive prices.
FLT is the latest one in the past few weeks.
I have today been buying FLT.... a +20% ROE business, underpinned by a prolific brand and I'm paying a mere 13x P/E (11.5x P/E after adjusting for cash balance, excl. cash held for clients).
The stocks is trading at a near-30% discount to the broader stock market, compared to its historical average of a 10% premium.
Like I say, equity markets can behave in a funny manner sometimes.
Priced like it is doomed
