I notice that the latest ASIC short position report (30/10/14) shows that RRL has 9.94% short, or 49.5m shares.
After reading the latest Euroz report I have purchased shares today (previous holder) and based on the QR, Regis may have turned the corner. There could also be a dividend on the horizon too of 6c for FY15 rising to 12-14c in FY16 according to Euroz estimates - even with a lower POG.
The depth in RRL for such as large company is incredibly thin. Assuming that NEM's 19% stake is not in play then that reduces the free float further. If I was short I would be looking to cover some time soon, especially as the AUD appears to be breaking down in conjunction with USD POG, thus providing a natural hedge for RRL.
