The share price is not the sole indicator of how well a company is doing or what it's worth. Any chairmain or BoD should know this, even a bad one. Share prices can skyrocket 10,000% for all I care, but if there are no assets or revenue to back this up then the company is still worthless. Hence why we got the dotcom crash, why bitcoin has been trashed and many mining exploration companies have been trashed.
But if the chairman wishes to use the share price as his measuring stick...he who lives by the sword will die by the sword...
