"Everest Babcock & Brown Alternative Investment Trust (EBI) is undertaking an on-market buyback.
Under the buy-back, EBI has to date cancelled 5,824,470 units. The number of units
presently on issue in EBI is 179,192,421.
Under the terms of the buy-back announcement of 23 August 2007, EBI may repurchase a further
223,886 units."
Cancelled 6 million out of 185 million, not a whole lot of compaction.
