Re the HUO comment - in the HUO half yearly HUO reported that they had increased harvesting to eliminate the risk of fish kill due to the El Nino. If the majority of that fish was sold in the period to end Dec, then this price increase would be of little benefit to them. If the fish is being sold now, then it will be. Timing is everything, HUO may have mistimed and sold the increased stock before the price rise and now have less stock for the export market with increased pricing. This is a guess based on the data available. Happy to hear alternate points of view.
