I think its called a "poop and scoop". A seller comes in on a low volume stock and sells on mass causing panic selling, and then the same seller cleans up by buying from the bottom of the panic.
CDA is perfect for this kind of thing as not enough people are paying attention to absorb the initial dump.
If no fundamental reason comes to light for causing the panic sell off today then this is the most probable bet to what happened
