I don't know if you figured this out, but you can find out which which dante configuration is used by clicking on the product. And as I posted previously, there's a lot of them.
As for your "nail in the coffin" - most if not all products are eventually superseded. That's why we don't use ADAT tapes or buy 8-track anymore, hell even DVDs. But I didn't invest in Dante, I invested in Audinate, and I see a bright future. Big difference between the (dominant) product and the brains trust behind it.
And thanks for the link but I'm pretty confident with my investment from practical experience and what I've learned at SAE and WAAPA.
