You would have to imagine that the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra is the pre-eminent classical music group around. They have something called the Digital Concert Hall, which basically records and broadcasts their live performances i.e. ANALOG - to - DIGITAL.
Now capturing this type of sound is far more sophisticated and complex than say speech. Guess what?

As far as AD8's customer list is concerned, Panasonic is not one of them (although they might be using them in an insignificant way) Analog to Digital is neither NEW or high value IP, and Audinate is not the leader in the field.
