INVESTORS WOUNDED
It seems Brisbane biotech mob Tissue Therapies just can’t catch a break.
Neither can their investors, who stumped up $8.3 million in a recent capital raising at 21c a share.
The shares tumbled 35 per cent to 12 cents yesterday thanks to further roadblocks and delays thrown up by European bureaucrats.
The company, which has developed a way to help treat ulcers and other wounds, had hoped to get the green light finally to flog its product VitroGro.
But after three years of frustration in Europe, TIS is hoping it might have a smoother run in the US.
