Seems funny that it is easier to organise a tour through the quarry via you than via the Secretary.
I am going East for the CMI AGM and had hoped to take in the Penrice AGM as well but the two AGMs are around a month apart so I won't be able to get to the latter. I still may be in Adelaide in late November and if so I will be trying to learn as much as I can on the ground. It would be good to see the plant in particular and see what we have been talking about first hand.
I guess I have just got frustrated with the schist and topsoil crap and the way this management has conference calls and open briefings and yet it is just all for show. When I asked a question at the April meeting and they said they would follow it up, they did nothing. When I asked if it would be possible to see over the plant and the quarry the Secretary told me that they do that for their institutional shareholders, not little old retail shareholders like me. What he did not know is that if I lumped all my shares into the one holding I would be in the top seven or so shareholders. I also suspect that my ramblings here have had a better effect on drawing attention to the company than any of their open briefings.
I did sell a few shares yesterday but I suspect my own declaration cost me from selling more. I do think that our discussions here have an effect on the market for the shares.
Tell me about the two recent deaths. I am not aware of them and they seem to have been hidden away as the company skites about its safety record.
By the way I haven't worked out what LT Sell and ST sell mean so I have declared myself neutral at this stage. I certainly won't be leaving Penrice and will keep involved here in the thread.
