Sorry deaths weren't that recent after all, was in 2004, doesn't seem that long ago, but I dont think there has been any tours since still... Have pasted details of the accident at the end of this post..

SA Mine deaths to be investigated.
SA Workplace Services is investigating the deaths of two workers who were killed in a mining incident in the Barossa Valley last week. It appears that the men were involved in the routine haul of limestone from the face of the Penrice quarry to a crusher, when their 60-tonne dump truck plunged 60m over a cliff. The operation to recover the two bodies was difficult, requiring the use of three cranes, two capable of lifting 150 tonnes each.
