I remember listening to one institutional fund manager being interviewed on lateline business or something like that prior to the float saying how retail investors were being ripped off because they were simply expected to hand a blank check to the Queensland government for a listing price that was to be determined by instituational investors.

He forgot to mention that retail investors were getting it 10 cents cheaper.

This was part of a campaign talking this float down.

Personally I thought the float was very well managed and it feels great to be a retail investor and getting it cheaper than the instos!

This float was a win for the little guy in my opinion.
