I am not a holder of TVN but I follow with interest.

It is pretty obvious to me that the announcement is going to be positive, based on yesterdays trading, but what about the chances of an insto placement or a cap. raising to go with it?

The only reason I ask is, in their response to the speeding ticket, they stated:

"On the back of recent successful Mongolian Coal transactions with Australian listed companies TVN has also scheduled upcoming investor presentations on the East Coast of Australia commencing 8 November 2011".

Investor presentations are usually to drum up investor support ie. to raise capital.

I am not trying to be negative in any way, as like I said, I think this is going to be a positive announcement, but reading that sugggested to me that a cap. raising may not be far off. Happy to be wrong though.
