If you have been following the court decision in the sgt Mc Donald case reported in the media during the week, you will see that a critical piece of evidence was a phone tap on BAR20. A phone tap would seem like a bit of overkill if the only issue was drinking and violence in King St.

I don't see this a problem, but how come the cops can tap a phone with out cause. Just because the cops want to close down a business, they can't just tap the phones because they don't like the business, can they ?.
