Well said Ray I have had a gutful of directors who vote themselves fat pay increases without bringing home the bacon for shareholders.
My Golf Pro once gave me wise advice that is also appropriate for the PPN Board. The pro told me that it is not the good shots that win the game for you, it is minimising the damage from the bad shots. When you hit the ball into the trees, don't hit and hope beyond your level of skill but play a shot that makes the next shot easier, even if it is backwards.
In the case of PPN, they hit a few good shot shots early and got overconfident. Bar 20 was a good shot but RMH was a really bad one, the equivalent to topping the ball straight into deep jungle.
When PPN played their bad shots, they kept trying to hit shots beyond their level of skill. The deep scrub ensured that their score would be horrendous. It took a lot more strokes to whack the ball back onto the fairway and get the company into profit.
PPN is trying out a couple of new caddies in Gayle and Dragan. I hope they were well trained in caddy school and can keep PPN on the fairways and out of the traps which attract them like a sailor to Bar20.
