Any Canning basin dicovery is relevant because it is the same structure which extends offshore and onshore. At the time the structure was formed millions of years ago it could have been all onshore or all offshore or as it is now. The hydrocarbon discovery in commercial quantities will definitely encourage further exploration on the structure.
