I know there was a lot of banter on here about how realestate.com is inpenetrable and even though Domain has wide usage, they have no hope of gaining any piece of the action. Well, looking at Fairfax results released yesterday i noted that Domain has doubled its advertising revenue in this last half and it was basically the only division that was keeping Fairfax afloat. Seems like it is possible for a minor player to gain traction. Given Domain goes head to head with REA, i'm still optimistic that RNT which is targeting a niche has a good chance to achieve a significant share (doesn't need to be a majority) in a shorter timeframe. Lets see...
