Japon you keep quoting fees from WA which you seem to think will have a bearing on RNT's future revenue. It seems like you are suggesting that the high fees charged in WA and the ease of which they will be able to advertise properties on RNT will lead to more landlords advertising with them. Lets assume that both agents and landlords are already paying to advertise on RNT - even if the ease of which landlords can advertise on RNT results in more landlords taking managements away from agents and managing properties themselves it's still the same amount of property being advertised - therefore there is no increase in revenue!

Agents fees are quite irrelavant to RNT's future success. They need to take market share away from REA and Domain. To do this they need to get both agents and landlords to advertise with them - and I would suggest that would be for free or at a very reduced rate until they can show results - those results will be PROSPECTIVE TENANTS USING THE SITE EXCLUSIVELY AND NOT REA OR DOMAIN. At the moment I can't see anything on their site which will ensure success.

    Agents fees in Victoria.
Letting fee - 1-1.5 weeks rental
    Management fee 5-7% of rental.
Advertising $100-$300 dependant on packages used.

There are other minor fees but once again it's completely irrelavant to RNT and it's just the advertising dollar that they are after.
